Thirty seconds after takeoff, he heard a "loud noise."

The first survivor of the plane crash with a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner was 40-year-old British citizen Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, the Hindustan Times reported. He said he heard a "loud noise" 30 seconds after takeoff and then "the plane crashed."

"When I got up, there were bodies all around me. I was scared. I got up and ran. There was wreckage of the airplane all around me. Someone grabbed me, put me in an ambulance and took me to the hospital," he told the publication.

One survivor was found at the site of the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner crash in Ahmedabad city, Ani reported earlier. The police commissioner told the agency that the man was found at the site of 11A.

The airliner had 242 people on board, including 230 passengers, two pilots and ten flight attendants. Of these, 169 were Indian nationals, 53 were British nationals, seven Portuguese and one Canadian. Former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani was also among the passengers, the Hindustan Times wrote.
