The U.S. president is simultaneously frustrated in Ukraine as well.
US President Donald Trump believes that Ukraine and Russia could have allegedly already agreed on a peace deal. But he is disappointed that it did not happen.
The American leader said this while talking to journalists.
"I'm very disappointed in Russia, but I'm also disappointed in Ukraine, because I think a deal could have been reached," Trump said.
He said Ukraine and Russia are losing 5,000-6,000 people a week. These are "predominantly military" but also civilians because they are hit by missile strikes.
"How would you like to live in a building if you knew there was a good chance in the evening that it was going to be hit by a missile? It's a terrible thing. It must be terrible to live like that," the president added.
Trump also boasted that the U.S. has "done a great job" with India and Pakistan, as well as Israel. He reiterated that none of these disasters would have happened if he were president.
