Israel Mobilizes Tens Of Thousands Of Reservists After Strikes On Iran

Heads of the General Staff announced the start of a historic campaign.

The Israeli army is mobilizing tens of thousands of reservists. This comes after a massive strike on Iran on June 13.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing a statement by Israel's Chief of General Staff Eyal Zamir.

He noted that "these are crucial days" for Israel, and the country "is at the beginning of a new phase of an operation to strengthen the future."

"We are in the middle of a historic campaign that our state has never known before. This is a critical operation aimed at preventing an existential threat from an enemy that aims to destroy us," the General Staff chief said.

He said the IDF launched the operation because "the time has come." Zamir also warned Israelis of the danger from Iran.

"At this moment, I ask you to support the IDF soldiers and security forces who are operating with determination on all fronts - near and far. They are protecting us all at the risk of their own lives. We are mobilizing tens of thousands of reservists and preparing on all borders. I warn: anyone who tries to challenge us will pay a high price," he said.

On the night of June 13, Israel launched strikes on Iran's nuclear and military sites, particularly in Tehran and other cities. The operation was dubbed "Operation Lion People."
