Targets in Iran that have been attacked by Israeli aircraft have been announced.
Israel attacked Iran on the night of June 13, after which it urged Israeli citizens to prepare for a retaliatory attack from Tehran.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called an emergency Cabinet meeting on the country's defense, Israeli media reported.
"We struck Iran's main uranium enrichment facility at Natanz," Netanyahu said.
Ballistic missile production facilities and top Iranian scientists working on a nuclear bomb were also struck. Natanz is located in Isfahan province. It is in this city that a key nuclear facility is located.
Israeli media say Iran has two underground nuclear facilities in Natanz and Fordow. Natanz houses two fuel enrichment plants: a huge underground one and an above-ground pilot plant.
This information was shared by members of the Iranian opposition back in 2002. The nuclear facility is reportedly three stories underground, which is why it is not yet clear what damage has been done to the facility by Israeli air strikes.
There are also reports of explosions in Isfahan and at an underground uranium enrichment plant in Fordow, Qom. Iranian state television confirms that some nuclear sites, such as Natanz, have been attacked by Israel.
