It was reported by CNN.
An unnamed Israeli official said the operation involved "deceiving" media and political commentators, making it possible to eventually "surprise" Iran.
The official added that the plan had only "a few secret partners." At the same time, the Israeli prime minister's office distributed announcements and briefings aimed at influencing the discussion in Iran and Israel.
On the night of June 13, Tel Aviv launched Operation Lion People against Tehran, during which the IDF launched airstrikes on Iranian territory. Iranian nuclear and military facilities were hit during the attack.
