A massive explosion has occurred in Tabriz, one of Iran's largest cities, the Web is publishing video from the scene.
The blast occurred near the airport, Iran's Mehr.

The footage, which has begun appearing on social media, can be seen as a large column of black smoke rises into the sky.

Israeli publication Ynet reports that the Israeli Air Force has destroyed the airport in Tabriz. This is said to be part of a new wave of IDF attacks against Iranian targets.
