Pillars of fire and thick smoke rose above the airport.

There was an explosion at Tehran's Mehrabad Airport on Saturday night, June 14. Its cause is still unknown.

According to The Times of Israel.

According to eyewitnesses, columns of fire and thick smoke rose above the airport after the explosion.

Local publication ISNA published a video showing columns of thick smoke rising from the airport area in western Tehran.
