Israel Has Eliminated Eight Key Iranian Generals

This could dramatically change the balance of power in the Middle East.

Israel has dealt a crushing blow to the leadership of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). The deaths of key generals have been confirmed, writes Clash Report .

According to the publication, the large-scale Israeli strikes killed senior IRGC commanders and the leadership of Iran's armed forces. It is one of the most serious strikes on the Islamic Republic's military command in decades.

Who died:

General Gholamali Rashid, head of the operational headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya, the Iranian Army's main strategic center;

General Mohammad Hossein Bagheri, Chief of General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces;

General Hossein Salami - commander of the IRGC, one of the most influential figures in Iranian politics and security;

General Amir Ali Hajizadeh - commander of the IRGC's Air and Space Forces, which are responsible for Iran's missile program;

General Mehdi Rabani - deputy chief of operations of the Armed Forces;

General Golamreza Mehrabi - deputy chief of intelligence of the Iranian army;

Brigadier General Davoud Shehian - head of the IRGC's air defense service;

Brigadier General Masoud Shanei - chief of staff commanding one of the IRGC's key units.

If the information is finally confirmed through official channels, it will be an unprecedented blow to the leading core of the Iranian military establishment. The deaths of several generals at once, particularly Hossein Salami, who personally coordinated the IRGC's external operations in Syria, Lebanon and Yemen, could have a chain reaction throughout the region.
