Before that, Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir and Israeli Air Force Commander Tomer Bar said that "the path to Tehran is paved."
"According to plans, IAF fighter jets will begin striking targets in Tehran," the Israeli military said.
The Israel Defense Forces said strikes will continue against Iranian nuclear and military facilities, ballistic missile launchers, as well as military officials and nuclear scientists.
