Russian military-industrial complex and army facilities have been de-energized.
Agents of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry carried out a sabotage in the city of Koenigsberg (Kaliningrad). As a result of the attack, Russian military-industrial complex and army facilities were de-energized.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to sources.
According to RBC-Ukraine's sources in Ukrainian intelligence, an attack on an industrial power substation was carried out around 4:00 on June 14 in the city of Koenigsberg.
Thereby the supply of electricity to consumers, in particular to the facilities of the Russian military-industrial complex and the Russian army, located in the area where the operation was carried out, was completely cut off. Losses for Russia as a result of the sabotage amount to almost $5 million dollars.
Sources note that GUR agents drained coolant from the substation's power transformer and then set fire to the facility. The fire significantly damaged the facility and resulted in the interruption of power supply to enemy businesses located nearby.
"We remind once again that Russia no longer has a rear in the east or west, or anywhere on the planet. Anything Russian involved in the war against Ukraine will burn, sink and be destroyed regardless of its level of defense or location," the GUR interlocutor emphasized.
