Kommunarka Has A New General Director

The former had "questions" for the law enforcers.

Alexander Nechai has become the new general director of the confectionery factory Kommunarka, said First Deputy Chairman of Minsk City Executive Committee Nadezhda Lazarevich. Until recently, he headed the enterprise "Slodych".

The new general director of SOAO "Kommunarka" was recently presented to the staff of the enterprise.

From 2014 to 2024, he headed the confectionery factory "Slodych", which is also part of the concern "Belgospischeprom". During Nechai's directorship, in December 2020, Slodych acquired the property of the bankrupt factory Ivkon in Ivenets. Later, the company opened a branch in Molodechno on the basis of the factory "Konfa", which was under bailout. Thanks to this it was possible to significantly increase the volume of output.

Nechay's predecessor in the post of general director of "Kommunarka" was Sergei Anyukhovsky. He joined the company in 2021 from the Bobruisk "Red Food", where he was also a director. In 2019-2024, he was also a member of the "council of the republic".

As the media wrote, last year at "Kommunarka" there were difficulties with supplies and payments due to sanctions, and the director was interested in law enforcers. In April 2024, Anyukhovsky was detained, presumably over issues related to payment for imported goods. However, before the "All-Belarusian People's Assembly", to which he was appointed as a delegate, he was released - according to the factory workers, due to this status.
