It could have been a deliberate strike against an American aerospace company.
Russia launched a massive attack on Kiev on the night of June 10. The shelling resulted in significant damage to Boeing's offices.
The Financial Times reports.
As the publication notes, a building used by Boeing in Kiev was heavily damaged in a recent massive Russian attack that was likely a deliberate strike on the U.S. aerospace company.
Two Boeing employees, three Ukrainian officials and the head of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine (ACC) said the building was among the targets that were damaged in the attack on the night of June 10.
Financial Times checked images released by the State Emergency Situations Service, which documented severe damage to the building and rescuers fighting a fire inside.
Boeing in Ukraine
Boeing is one of the most prominent American companies with a presence in Ukraine. Its activities are mainly focused on engineering and technical support.
The company cooperates with Ukrainian aircraft manufacturer Antonov. According to the publication, earlier this year Boeing executives met with representatives of Antonov and the Ukrainian defense minister to discuss new joint ventures.
