Iran Will Send A Message To Israel Via Cyprus

The Cypriot president expects to speak to the Israeli prime minister tonight.

Iran has asked Cyprus to "send Israel a message". Cyprus President Nicos Christodoulidis stated this on Sunday, June 15.

According to the "HaAretz" website, President Christodoulidis said: "Iran has asked us to send 'several messages' to Israel." The president also said he expects to speak with Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu later Sunday evening.

Christodoulidis added that he was dissatisfied with the European Union's "slow response to the crisis in the Middle East."
