The Israeli Air Force struck an airplane at an airport in eastern Iran. The distance to the target was a record 2,300 kilometers since the beginning of the operation

It was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Israel Defense Forces Telegram.

"Some time ago, the Israeli Air Force struck an Iranian refueling plane at Mashhad airport in eastern Iran, about 2,300 kilometers from Israel," the publication said.

The IDF emphasized that the Israeli Air Force's actions are aimed at establishing air superiority over Iran.

"This is the longest-range strike carried out since the beginning of the operation," the Israeli army added.
