Zelensky Proposed Candidacy For The Post Of Prosecutor General Of Ukraine

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky proposes that the Ukrainian parliament support the candidacy of Ruslan Kravchenko for the post of Prosecutor General of Ukraine. This was announced by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk in Facebook.

"In accordance with paragraph 11 of part one of Article 106 and part three of Article 131-1 of the Constitution of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine received a submission from the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on granting consent to the appointment of Kravchenko Ruslan Andreevich to the post of Prosecutor General," the Verkhovna Rada Chairman wrote.

Stefanchuk noted that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will consider this submission at one of the next plenary sessions.

Ruslan Kravchenko is now the head of the State Tax Service, and before that he was the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration. He is 35 years old.

In 2021 Ruslan Kravchenko headed Buchanskiy District Prosecutor's Office of Kyiv region. Since March 31, 2022 he conducted fixation and investigation of war crimes of Russians in Bucha.
