Employees of Rechitsa Metalware Plant started to go on vacation at their own expense. So far, the vacations are small.

"People are sent for two days a month at their own expense, but the bonuses have not been cut yet. The workload has fallen by about a third, there are fewer orders. There is already downtime," a source connected with the enterprise told "Flagstaff".

The problem arose because of customers from Russia: first they signed a contract and then refused to fulfill their obligations. Competitors from China came to the Russian market and took over a large-scale order from the Rechitsa plant:

"They abandoned the plant for 6 or 7 million dollars".

Sales of products at the enterprise decreased. There are rumors among the workers that the management wants to get rid of several hundred employees. However, they do not want to cut them down in order not to pay compensation, so they are waiting for people to quit on their own.

In the same situation, by the way, the Belarusian Metallurgical Plant has fallen into the same situation - the sales of rolled metal products have fallen in the Russian market, for which it is leased.
