The U.S. president said journalists don't understand what he really thinks.

The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) journalists do not understand what US President Donald Trump really thinks about the situation around Iran's nuclear program and the Islamic republic's conflict with Israel. The head of the White House himself wrote this on his Truth Social network after the WSJ reported Trump's endorsement of a plan for a US attack on Iran.

"The Wall Street Journal has no idea what my thoughts are on Iran!" - said in a post published by Trump.

According to the publication, Trump has approved a plan to attack Iran privately, but has yet to issue a final order for strikes in case Tehran gives up its nuclear program. Trump hopes that the risk of US involvement in the war will force Iran to comply with demands for nuclear weapons, WSJ wrote, citing three sources familiar with the discussions.

After speaking with military commanders at the White House Situation Room, the US president did not rule out a military solution to the situation in a conversation with reporters. According to him, Tehran was "weeks" away from obtaining nuclear weapons.
