Poland has held the second round of presidential elections. The liberal candidate from the ruling Civic Coalition, Warsaw mayor Rafal Trzaskowski and the head of the Institute of National Memory of Poland Karol Nawrocki, who is supported by the opposition conservative Law and Justice party, competed for the presidential seat on June 1.
The State Election Commission reported that Karol Nawrocki wins with 50.89% of the vote. Rafal Trzaskowski garnered 49.11%.
Turnout in the second round was 71.63%.

Karol Nawrocki won among the young. In the 18-39 age group, the Right and Justice candidate gained 51.9% of votes, while his rival got 48.1%.
In the group of voters who exceeded the age of sixty, the difference was smaller - Navrotsky's score was 50.1%, Trzaskowski's - 49.9%.
In the 30-39 age group, Navrotsky performed better, gaining 51.5%. of support. The result of his rival amounted to 48.5%.
In the group of 40-49 years old Trzaskowski won already. The candidate from the ruling camp received 52.8%, while the representative of PiS gained 47.2%.
In the group of 50-59 years old, Trzaskowski's advantage reached 51.8%, with 48.2%. Nawrocki.
Who won abroad
The Civic Coalition candidate Trzaskowski received 63.49% of the vote, while 36.51% of Poles living outside the country voted for Nawrocki.
Nawrocki won in the United States, where he received 56.6% of the vote (against Trzaskowski's 43.35%).
Trzaskowski won in most provinces, but this did not save him
