Ukrainian scouts intercepted the conversation of the occupants.
The Russian occupier was thought to be missing in action. But in fact he was killed and eaten by a fellow soldier. This is evidenced by a radio intercept published by Ukraine's Main Intelligence Directorate.
"Another conversation intercepted by Ukrainian intelligence officers is a real horror-detective. A serviceman of the occupation army, who was thought to be missing, ate a 'fellow soldier,'" the report says.
In the intercept, you can hear the story of the commander of one of the units of a separate reconnaissance battalion of the 68th Motorized Rifle Division of the Russian Armed Forces.
He said that a Russian invader with the call sign "Breloch" ate another occupier who had the call sign "Foma." The latter was thought to be missing, but in fact he never ran away.
"Brelok" killed him and then ate him for two weeks," says a male voice on the recording.
Later, "Brelok" himself was found dead.
"They say 200 (the dead man - ed.) was. Well, he ate his partner, so it's just for thought," the occupant noted.
"Brelok" and "Thomas" served in the 52nd separate reconnaissance battalion of the 68th motorized rifle division of the Russian Armed Forces. The unit is fighting in the Kupyansk direction near the settlements of Zapadnoye and Liman First.
"Cannibalism is yet another proof of the deep moral and psychological decay of the Russian occupation troops, who are left without basic respect for human life - even their own," the Defense Ministry's GSD stressed.
