The missiles were destroyed on the ground.
During the night and morning, the Israeli Air Force bombed strategic sites in Tehran and missile launchers in western Iran. The missiles, which were supposed to fly toward Be'er Sheva, managed to be destroyed on the ground, wrote Details.
In the morning, the alarm sounded in southern Israel. But the Iranian launch was limited to a single missile. And much credit goes to the Israeli air force.
"The Iranians were planning to strike Be'er Sheva harder this morning. Before the launch, we detected the deployment of three launchers that were ready to fire and neutralized them," IDF spokesman Efi Defrin told IDF Spokesman Efi Defrin.
After his statement, the military revealed details of the operation. More than 25 fighter jets participated in the morning's strikes against the missile infrastructure. They bombed, in total, more than 36 sites in western Iran - in the areas of Tabriz and Kermanshah.
As of June 19, Iran had already lost at least half of its missile capabilities. Also, according to various estimates, Israel has destroyed up to two-thirds of Iranian launchers.
