Ukraine Imposes Sanctions Against Belarusian Precision Electromechanics Plant

The decree was signed by President Vladimir Zelensky.
On June 20, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky signed a decree imposing sanctions on 55 companies and 56 individuals from Russia, Belarus and China. The list includes Belarus-based Zavod Precise Electromechanics.
The decree imposes sanctions against individuals and companies involved in the production of drones in Russia, the RBC-Ukraine noted.
The listed Zavod Precise Electromechanics was established in 2009. It works in the fields of multiple rocket launchers, small caliber aerial bombs, targeting systems, and modernization of rockets. The plant's specialists are trained in Russia. There is a center for collective use of unique
scientific equipment - we are talking about satellite telecommunication services.
According to investigators, the plant was engaged in setting up the production of 122 mm rockets.
In March, the enterprise was included in the EU sanctions list.
