Local residents were advised to avoid the impact zone.
Iranian officials assure there has been no radioactive leak, but locals should avoid the site of the strikes.
On Saturday morning, Israeli aircraft struck Iran's largest nuclear research center in Isfahan province.
The deputy governor of the province said this in an interview with the semi-official Fars news agency, CNN.
The official said the Isfahan Nuclear Technology Center, a key facility in Iran's nuclear program, was targeted. No leakage of hazardous materials was recorded, but residents were advised to avoid the strike zone because of rescue operations.
Iran's air defenses partially intercepted the attacks, although some missiles reached their targets. "Most of the explosions were caused by air defense systems, but some were caused by enemy strikes," the official said.
