"One Phrase Can Appease Putin In An Instant."

Trump has already told it to Ayatollah Khamenei.

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin's continued stay in power reduces to almost nothing the chances of ending Russian aggression against Ukraine. At least as long as Moscow has the money for the war or until the ayatollah regime in Iran collapses, reminding Putin that one day the chair may wobble beneath him.

And the U.S. president may find the words to make Putin calm down. This opinion was expressed in an interview with OBOZ.UA by Russian opposition activist Olga Kurnosova.

While Putin remains confident in himself and remains in power, it is not worth counting on the end of Russia's war against Ukraine, she believes.

"At least while he is confident in himself, it is definitely not worth it. Something very serious must happen. For example, he must run out of money to fight this war. Or he has to see the ayatollahs' regime fall and realize that such things are possible. So far, you can see that he's soaplessly prying into all sorts of places to pose as a peacemaker in Iran. But listen, you wage war by attacking Ukraine, and you tell me what kind of peacemaker you are? Are you out of your mind?", Kurnosova said emotionally.

In her opinion, only "knocking the hubris" off the Russian dictator, who has unquestioningly believed in his impunity and unassailability, will be able to calm him down.

"When he sees that situations can be handled quite differently.... As Trump said, the states know where Ayatollah Khamenei is at every moment. When the same words are said to Putin and when he realizes that there are means that can destroy him at any moment, perhaps then he will be more accommodating," Kurnosova stated.
