Three nuclear facilities have been attacked.
The United States has joined Israel's operation against Iran's nuclear and military sites. Three sites have been struck.
The announcement was made by US President Donald Trump in a Truth Social.
"We have completed our extremely successful attack on three nuclear sites in Iran - Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan. All aircraft have left Iranian airspace," he said.
Trump said all bombs were dropped on the Fordow facility and the planes are safely returning to base.
"Congratulations to our great American warriors. There is no other military in the world capable of doing this. Now is the time for peace," he added.
There are no details yet on the results of this attack.
It's worth noting that these Iranian facilities have been hit by Israeli strikes for days.

Later, Trump posted to Truth Social a screenshot from Open Source Intel's OSINT account with the text "Fordo is gone."

At the same time, a U.S. official told Reuters that B-2 bombers were involved in the U.S. attack on Iran.
"The B-2 may be equipped to carry a 30,000-pound GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrator designed to destroy targets deep underground. It is a weapon that experts say could be used to strike Iran's nuclear program, including Fordow," the publication writes.
