Iran Has Revealed What New Tactic It Has Used To Bombard Israel

The statement was made by an IRGC spokesman.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Command announced that in response to U.S. bombers firing on its nuclear facilities, Israel was targeted in a new tactic, "Details".

This was revealed on Sunday, June 22 by the website of Channel 12 TV. The statement was made by an IRGC spokesman.

The spokesman said the attack on Israel was the first time a combination of ballistic missiles with a highly destructive warhead and missiles capable of fooling Israeli air defenses were used.

The spokesman also named the targets of this morning's missile attack:

Ben Gurion Airport

Biological Research Institute (what the IRGC means by this is not entirely clear).

Military bases.

Preliminary reports indicate that the Iranian attack caused severe damage in several locations. According to preliminary reports, 23 people were injured. One sustained moderate injuries and others were lightly wounded.

Air alert was sounded early Sunday morning, June 22, throughout Israel. It was the first rocket attack since an overnight U.S. bomber attack on key Iranian nuclear facilities. At 07:38, virtually all of Gush Dan, the entire center and the entire north of the country came under attack.

At 07:42, Haifa, the northern Golan Heights and a strange arc covering the Sharon District, the Shfela District, Jerusalem but not Tel Aviv were attacked.

This is where the siren sounded during the next rounds of shelling. At 07:44:

At the same time, an unusual event was reported in Haifa: there were drops, but no alarm was sounded.

At 10:00, the final totals were summarized. Thirty-five rockets were fired at Israel. Most of them were shot down. There were a total of three hits: in Tel Aviv, in Haifa and in Nes Tzion. Other damage may have been caused by falling rocket debris. Twenty-three people were injured. One was moderately wounded, the others were lightly wounded.
