The US President reacted to the statement of the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council about nuclear weapons for Iran.
US President Donald Trump responded to the statement of former Russian President Dmitri Medvedev about the possibility of transferring nuclear warheads to Iran. He wrote about it on his Truth Social page.
"Did I really hear former President Medvedev of Russia so casually throw around the 'Ya' word (nuclear!) and say that he and other countries are going to give Iran nuclear warheads?" - wondered Donald Trump rhetorically.
"Did he really say that, or was it just me imagining it?" - Trump wrote. He called for immediate confirmation of the information if it was true. "'The N-word' should not be used so flippantly," he added.
Trump also said that such statements are the reason Putin "is the boss."
In addition, he again brought up the recent US strikes on Iran, emphasizing that US nuclear submarines are "the most powerful and deadliest weapons ever created." According to the president, 30 Tomahawk cruise missiles were fired from the submarines during the latest operation and "all 30 hit exactly on target."
"In addition to our great pilots, thank you to the captain and crew!" - Trump added.
Medvedev said earlier that U.S. airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities had not caused critical damage and that Iran's uranium enrichment program itself would continue, "including the production of nuclear weapons." He also said that a number of countries are allegedly willing to give Iran their own nuclear warheads. In addition, he mocked Trump for what he said was "dragging the U.S. into a new war" and "can forget about the Nobel Peace Prize."
