Media: Iran Launches Missile Strike On US Bases In Qatar

Explosions are heard in Doha.

Iran has fired six missiles at U.S. bases in Qatar in response to U.S. strikes on its nuclear facilities, Axios journalist Barak Ravid quoted an Israeli official as saying.

Qatar's Al Jazeera reported flashes and sounds of explosions over Doha.

Qatar closed its airspace on the evening of June 23. The US urged its citizens in that country to "shelter in place until further notice." The British Foreign Office asked its citizens to refrain from traveling to the UAE and Qatar.

A Fox News source claimed that the U.S. military was preparing for the "imminent" threat of an Iranian strike on a U.S. airbase in Qatar.
