Trump Called Iran's Response "weak"

The U.S. president thanked the Iranian side for the advance notice of the attack.

US President Donald Trump said that Iran gave a "very weak" response to a US strike on their nuclear facilities and emphasized that the US effectively repelled the attack.

He wrote this on his Truth social network.

"Iran fired 14 missiles - 13 were neutralized, one flew off in a safe direction," Trump noted.

He also said that no Americans were injured in the attack and the damage was minimal.

The president thanked the Iranian side for the advance notice of the attack, which allowed for the timely activation of defenses. Trump expressed hope that after the incident, "hatred will be a thing of the past" and the region can move toward a peaceful resolution.

-"Perhaps now Iran can move toward peace and harmony, and I would love to encourage Israel to do the same," Trump said.
