Israel Has Officially Agreed To A Ceasefire With Iran

Prime Minister Netanyahu declared "colossal achievements."

Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has confirmed that his country has agreed to a ceasefire with Iran, as announced by US President Donald Trump the day before.

It was reported by Ynet.

"In light of achieving the objectives of the operation and in full coordination with [US President Donald] Trump, Israel has agreed to the president's proposal for a bilateral ceasefire," Netanyahu's office said in a statement.

Netanyahu said Israel had made "colossal historic achievements" during the operation and eliminated two existential threats.

He also pledged that Israel would react harshly to any violation of the cease-fire, Netanyahu vowed.

Iran's state-run Press TV also reported that the ceasefire with Israel had taken effect.

"The ceasefire with Israel began after four waves of Iranian strikes on Israeli-occupied territories," the channel said on Twitter.
