The presidents of Ukraine and France Vladimir Zelensky and Emmanuel Macron met on Tuesday on the margins of the NATO summit in The Hague.
The Ukrainian president wrote on X.
At the meeting, according to Zelensky, the sides coordinated joint next steps and discussed "diplomatic work to put pressure on Russia."
"We discussed the possibility of expanding our air fleet with additional 'mirages,' as well as joint production and investment in interceptor drones," the head of state added, expressing hope for "good decisions in the near future."
The leaders also discussed the development of the so-called "coalition of the willing," expectations from the NATO summit and the imposition of tougher sanctions against Russia, Zelensky noted.
"It is fair limits on oil and gas prices that can deal a real blow to the Russian financial machine," Zelensky emphasized.
