A similar agreement is planned with India.
The United States has signed a trade agreement with China and plans to enter into a similar pact with India.
The U.S. President Donald Trump announced this during a speech at the White House on June 26.
"We just signed an agreement with China," the US president said.
He also added that the US plans to sign a similar agreement with India.
At the same time, Trump noted that Washington will not necessarily negotiate with all countries. Individual countries will simply be sent a message that "now you pay duties of 25-45%."
"That's an easy way to do it. However, my people don't want to act that way. They seek to make more deals than I would make," Trump added.
