Zakharova Had A Tantrum Over A Tribunal For Putin
Maria Zakharova

The Russian Foreign Ministry said of the "hostile demarche".

Russia does not recognize the jurisdiction of the Special International Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine. For Russia, the work of this tribunal, as well as any of its decisions, will be "null and void" and legally invalid. This statement was made by Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, TASS writes.

Zakharova hysterically said that the Kremlin does not recognize the jurisdiction of the Special Tribunal, which has the authority to consider and condemn crimes of aggression, including those directed against Russian leader Vladimir Putin. According to her, any decisions by this tribunal to punish Russia for its aggression against Ukraine would be "null and void" for Moscow.

"Any state joining it will be regarded as a hostile demarche, reflecting a desire not to settle but to deepen the current crisis around Ukraine," she said.

In addition, Zakharova accused the Council of Europe of "creating quasi-legal mechanisms" directed against Russia. The Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman also did not forget to threaten to introduce "restrictive measures" against the member states.
