Poland Adopted A Decision On Simplified Issuance Of "foreigner's Passports" For Belarusians

The deadline has been extended to December 31, 2025.

The simplified procedure for issuing Polish foreigner's travel documents for citizens of Belarus has been extended until December 31, 2025, according to the website of the Polish government.

Belarusian citizens residing in Poland can still obtain a foreigner's travel document under the simplified procedure - from July 1, it will be extended for another six months, until December 31, 2025.

"This is another instrument of the asset In accordance with it, the following relaxations were introduced for Belarusians:

exemption from paying the fee for issuing a travel document for a foreigner - this measure will be in effect indefinitely until its abolition;

Belarusians who have never had a travel document (primarily a passport) - including children - could also apply for a document;

Belarusians, unlike other applicants, did not have to prove that they could not obtain a passport from the authorities of their state;

Belarusians who had only a temporary residence permit in Poland, regardless of the purpose of its issuance, could apply for a document.

Since then, the simplified procedure for issuing "foreigner's passports" has been regularly extended, every six months for another six months.
