Estonia is ready to receive on its territory allied fighter jets that can carry nuclear weapons. Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur said this amid Britain's decision to purchase 12 F-35A multi-role fighters from the United States, ERR reports.

Pevkur said F-35As have already been stationed in Estonia as part of NATO's rotational air policing mission. Such practices, the head of the Defense Ministry added, will continue in the future.

"The F-35s have already been in Estonia and will soon return again in rotation. We are ready to continue hosting allies on our territory, including those who use such platforms," Pevkur said.
