The SBU Destroyed An A-50 Aircraft During An Attack On The Ivanovo Airfield

In the course of special operation "Web" the drones of the Security Service of Ukraine destroyed another important target besides strategic bombers. It is about the A-50 long-range radar detection aircraft.

The target was hit on the territory of the airfield "Ivanovo". OSINT-analysts of GEOINT write about it in the social network X.

Another painful loss of the Russian occupation army is confirmed by satellite images with high image clarity from Mizarvision.

The footage shows several damaged long-range radar detection planes at the airbase "Ivanovo". The footage reliably confirms significant damage to one aircraft, which, according to preliminary data, cannot be repaired.

The Russians have installed a radio system with improved parameters for detecting low-flying and low-observable air targets on the modernized A-50 aircraft, which received the prefix "U" in its name. The Russian Federation claims that the A-50 can detect fighter jets and helicopters under conditions of electronic suppression.

Russian DRLOs are based on the IL-76 heavy transport aircraft and are equipped with a rotating antenna. According to the Russian media, the modernized A-50U can detect various types of aircraft and is also capable of simultaneously escorting a large number of targets and homing fighters.
