EU Officially Extends Sectoral Sanctions Against Russia For Another Six Months

The EU has announced the official extension of sectoral sanctions against Russia for another six months.

The head of European diplomacy Kaja Kallas wrote about it in X, informs "European Pravda".

The top EU diplomat noted that the pressure on Russia will continue until it stops its unleashed war against Ukraine.

"Each sanction weakens Russia's ability to wage war," Kallas noted.

A European Pravda interlocutor commenting on the decision said that following a written procedure, all 27 EU countries signed a document extending the sectoral sanctions.

"So: the sanctions have been extended until January 31, 2026," he added.
