The Rechitsa District Department of Emergency Situations confirmed the flight of a Russian attack drone over the city at a low altitude. There are still no official comments on the matter, reports "Euroradio".

The incident happened on Sunday, June 1. Hundreds of citizens witnessed an attack drone flying and maneuvering over the city center between 9 and 10 a.m.

The publication "Flagstaff" called rescuers on behalf of a local resident to ask why the agency did not report the threat.

"This case cannot be predicted, and there is no way to inform beforehand. And then no one was hurt, it was just flying," the Emergencies Ministry replied. When asked why the air danger alarm was not activated, the EMERCOM duty officer said: "If there is a need, everything will be activated. And added that the alarm would be activated on command.

Where the drone that flew over Rechitsa on June 1 went, the Ministry of Emergency Situations did not answer - they say they do not have such data.

The department of ideological work of the district executive committee said that they had neither seen nor heard anything about the drone.
