Trump Held A Phone Conversation With Putin

The US president said the conversation would not lead to "immediate peace".

US President Donald Trump says he just had a phone conversation with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. He wrote about it on the social network Truth Social.

Trump said their conversation lasted 1 hour and 15 minutes.

"It was a good conversation, but not one that will lead to immediate peace. President Putin said, and very forcefully, that he will have to respond to the recent attack on airfields," Trump wrote.
