Zelensky Responded Sharply To Putin

It is Moscow that must feel that the war has a great price to pay.

Since the beginning of 2025, Russia has used nearly 27,700 aerial bombs, about 11,200 Shaheds and nearly 9,000 other attack drones to attack Ukrainian territory. In addition, the enemy has fired more than 700 missiles, particularly ballistic missiles.

This statement was made by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky. He emphasized that this pace of attacks on Ukraine was deliberately taken by the Russians from the first days of their full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The Kremlin has rebuilt its state from within for the sake of being able to kill people in other countries, the Ukrainian president added.

"Many people have talked to Russia and at different levels. No talks have led not only to a reliable peace, but even to stopping the war. Unfortunately, Putin feels impunity and even after all the terrible Russian strikes is supposedly preparing some more "answers". This means that with each new blow, each new delay in diplomacy, Russia is showing the middle finger to the rest of the world. Everyone who does not want to increase pressure on Russia," Zelensky emphasized.

The Ukrainian president noted that it is Russia that should seek peace. It is in Moscow that should feel that war has a big price. According to him, if the world reacts weakly to Putin's threats, the Russian ruler will perceive this as a willingness to turn a blind eye to his actions.

"When he does not feel force and pressure, but feels weakness, he always commits new crimes. He regards this attitude as a tacit permission - permission for new atrocities, new strikes, new murders," Zelensky added.

The Ukrainian head of state emphasized that Russia must return peace. He also reminded that June 4 is the Memorial Day for Ukrainian children who died because of Russian aggression.

"And if the strong do not stop Putin, it means that they share responsibility with him. And if they want to but cannot stop him, Putin will no longer consider them strong," the Ukrainian president summarized.
