The AFU General Staff Confirmed A Strike On Russian Missile Forces In The Bryansk Region

Today, June 5, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with the Security Service of Ukraine and other components of the Defense Forces, launched a missile strike on the area of concentration of a unit of the Russian missile forces in the Bryansk region.

"A unit of the 26 missile brigade of the Russian troops, from the area of the town of Klintsy in the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation, tried to strike one of the Ukrainian settlements. Probably on Kiev," the General Staff said.

Owing to effective additional reconnaissance and as a result of coordinated work of units of the Armed Forces and the Security Service of Ukraine, the targets were successfully defeated. One Russian missile launcher detonated, and two more were likely to be damaged.

"The results of the defeat are being clarified," the General Staff said.
