There have been high-profile successes recently.
Vasyl Malyuk, who slapped Russia in the face with Operation Web, has achieved a number of high-profile successes as head of the SBU.
The Guardian writes about it.
After the success of the SBU operation, the publication dedicated an article to Malyuk and detailed a number of facts from his biography.
"The daring drone attacks on remote bases where Russian strategic bombers are stationed were a "serious slap in the face of Russia's power. Our strikes will continue as long as Russia terrorizes Ukrainians with Shahed missiles and drones," the publication quoted 42-year-old Malyuk as saying, adding that he occasionally boxed and weightlifted, and himself, "shaved naked, with the figure and posture of a typical nightclub bouncer."
It is also noted that Malyuk has been head of the SBU since the former head of that post, Ivan Bakanov, a childhood friend of Vladimir Zelensky, was fired in 2022 for apparent incompetence. Malyuk was his deputy.

The past three years have seen high-profile successes. One is a photograph showing Malyuk holding Dmytro Kozyura, head of the SBU's anti-terrorism department, by the scruff of the neck during his arrest on suspicion of collaborating with a Russian double agent.
