New details of the epic liquidation of the Russian Iskander missile system in the Bryansk region have been published. Together with the installations, the crew was "zeroed out".

The Russian opposition resource Astra reported this, citing informed sources.

Ukraine destroyed the Russian Iskander in the early morning of last Thursday, June 5. It happened near the village of Martyanovka, which is about 50 kilometers from the Ukrainian borders.

"The attack was carried out by several missiles. Eight Russian servicemen were killed and five others were wounded," the channel reported.

According to the AFU General Staff, one of the units of the 26th missile brigade of the Russian Armed Forces came under attack. The complex was destroyed as it was preparing a ballistic strike on Kiev.

According to Ukraine's leader Vladimir Zelensky, the Defense Forces destroyed three Iskander installations this week. "Our warriors this week successfully destroyed Russian positions - exactly the positions from which they hit Ukraine, our people. Three Iskander installations were destroyed the other day. This was the destruction of murderers," the Ukrainian president said.
