Ukrainian Soldiers Spectacularly Burned A Russian Buk-M3 With Ammunition

Ukrainian defenders hit the Russian Buk-M3 air defense system. The unit was burned down along with its ammunition.

According to the USU General Staff.

The footage shows the work of operators from the unmanned systems force of the Ukrainian armed forces, namely soldiers of the 14th separate regiment of unmanned aerial systems. The operation became an example of coordinated work of the units.

After detection, the soldiers immobilized the target, "illuminated" it for some time and killed it, causing detonation of the ammunition and complete destruction of the Buk-M3 launcher.

What is known about the Buk-M3

The Buk-M3 surface-to-air missile system is a modern Russian air defense system capable of intercepting air targets at a range of up to 70 kilometers.

It is known from open sources that this complex is used by the enemy to hit targets in the air, on land and on water. The approximate cost of such a SAM system is $45 million.

"The destruction of such installations inflicts millions of dollars in losses on the enemy and opens the airspace for further operations of the Ukrainian Defense Forces," the General Staff said.
