But Putin is not stopping.
The war against Ukraine is leading Russia to an irreversible catastrophe in a variety of spheres. This was told by the well-known OSINT-expert Tatarigami_UA, referring to the analysis of Kremlin analysts.
The post about it he published on his social network account X.
According to the words of the OSINT-expert, in 2024 he got access to voluminous analytical materials that were prepared for the leadership of the Russian Federation, including the Security Council. These documents contained calculated models of what will happen to Russia in the future in the sphere of economy, demography, technological development and so on.
"The analysis makes it clear: the continuation of the current course will lead to irreversible problems in demography, economy and technological development, which will set Russia back decades in comparison with the leading geopolitical players. At best, it will manage to retain the status of a regional power, losing even the positions it has now," the expert said.
He noted that despite very alarming forecasts and lack of prospects, the Russians persist in their aggression against Ukraine.
"Let's imagine a pessimistic scenario for us: Russia, having suffered up to half a million more casualties, still seizes a significant part of left-bank Ukraine. What does that gain strategically? What do they get? Ruins of towns and villages? Millions of pensioners left in "khrushchevkas"? Ukraine, which itself is in a demographic crisis, will not compensate for these losses - neither economically nor with human resources. I used to think that strategic planning in military-political leadership is based on a certain logic - availability of resources and chances to achieve a favorable result. If continuing to act in any scenario leads only to a worsening of the situation, then why continue? Even in the most optimistic forecast for them, the result will not be better than in the case of stopping the war now. So, either the logic in Russia's military and political leadership is so distorted that it is difficult to understand, or we are dealing with a form of collective mental disorder. This dilemma becomes central when faced with data predicting collapse, but at the same time one sees the persistent continuation of the suicidal course," Tatarigami_UA stated.
