Lukashenko Made A Dangerous Initiative For Himself

A dictator can get into a sensitive situation.

On June 7, Alexander Lukashenko proposed to erect a monument to President of China Si Jinping at the entrance of the National Football Stadium.

According to the politician, the monument will come in handy here because it was China that helped to build this sports arena. During the opening ceremony of the stadium, he publicly thanked Xi Jinping and all Chinese partners for their contribution to the construction of this facility.

Earlier, the media reported that the head of China may soon leave big politics due to worsening health problems.

Another version is that the chair under Xi Jinping is wobbling, and his party comrades are ready to remove him from power at the next plenum of the CPC Central Committee.

If this happens, Alexander Lukashenko and his initiative may get into a sensitive situation. It is unlikely that the new Chinese leadership will like the idea of erecting a monument to an overthrown former associate in Belarus.
