On the night of June 8, a scale fire broke out in the Tula region of the aggressor country Russia at the Azot plant, which is one of the key links of the Russian military-industrial complex.
This was reported in Telegram reported the head of the National Security and Defense Council's CPD Andrey Kovalenko.
According to him, at this enterprise the Russians manufacture explosives used in artillery shells, aircraft bombs and missiles. In particular, we are talking about TNT.
Kovalenko noted that after the beginning of a full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation in 2022, this plant was put into wartime mode. The company has strengthened ties with other facilities that make shells, UAV bodies and remote mining equipment.
The CPD did not comment on the consequences of the fire, but Russian authorities said two people were injured when a UAV crashed into the plant.
