Russia has started building airplane shelters at its military bases, satellite images show.

Traces of shelter construction work can be seen on satellite images of Kirovske airfields in occupied Crimea, as well as in Sevastopol, Gvardeyskoye and Saki, OSINT analyst Def Mon said on social network X.
On the territory of Russia, similar work is underway in Yeysk, Krymsk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, at the Khanskaya airbase in Adygea, Millerovo, Akhtubinsk, Borisoglebsk, Kursk and Lipetsk, as well as at the strategic aviation base in Engels (on video).
On June 1, the Security Service of Ukraine carried out a special operation "Spider's Web", launching a massive drone strike on Russian strategic aviation airfields.
The Olenya, Belaya, Dyagilevo and Ivanovo airfields were under attack. Forty-one Russian aircraft - among them the A-50, Tu-95 and Tu-22 M3 - were hit.
