The AFU Hit MiG-31 And Su-30/34 At The Russian Airfield Savasleika

This airfield is used by the Russians for strikes on Ukraine.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced that on Monday, June 9, units of the Special Operations Forces together with other AFU units in the Nizhny Novgorod region attacked the Savasleika airfield.

The Russians use this airfield for strikes against Ukraine, in particular, supersonic fighter-interceptors MiG-31K, which are carriers of Kh-47M2 Kinzhal missiles, regularly take off from it.

Preliminary information from the military indicates that two Russian planes were hit at the airfield. The General Staff indicated that they are probably Su-30/34 fighter-bombers and MiG-31 fighter-interceptors. Information about the results of the combat operation is being specified.
