Russian occupiers continue infrastructural development around Mariupol and are now secretly building some kind of facility concerning the militarization of the city. This was reported by the head of the Center for the Study of the Occupation Petr Andryushchenko.

In particular, according to him, the development is related to accelerated militarization and changing the meaning of Mariupol itself from a "crossroads" to a "base."

Moreover, the construction is not done by locals, but by Russians on a rotational basis. They live separately in a camp and are not allowed into the city. Total mystery. Very interesting object, and the rules are similar to the construction of the railroad of the year before last," - said Andryushchenko.

He specified that so far it was not possible to get any other information about this construction, but the head of the center considers it only a matter of time.

"But ... The main conclusion is that Mariupol and the Azov part as a whole receives the maximum militarized component. And it is all precisely because of this. Which corresponds to the Russians' plans for other regions - Zaporizhzhya and Kherson," Andryushchenko is sure.
