AP: US Resumes Transfer Of Certain Weapons To Ukraine

Kiev is now again receiving 155mm ammunition and high-precision rockets like GMLRS.

U.S. President Donald Trump's administration has resumed shipments of certain weapons to Ukraine.

The Associated Press (AP) reports that.

Two U.S. officials, on condition of anonymity, said Ukraine is now receiving 155mm ammunition and high-precision rockets like GMLRS again.

The exact date of the resumption of the arms movement was not specified. The information has not been officially confirmed.

Three people familiar with the situation told the AP that President Donald Trump has expressed displeasure in private conversations that the Pentagon publicly announced the suspension of shipments without prior White House approval.

At the same time, the US Defense Department denied that Defense Secretary Pete Gegseth acted without consulting the president.

The agency recalled that in total, since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, the US has provided Ukraine with more than $67 billion in military aid and weapons.
